George plays upright and electric bass and splits his time between Los Angeles and the Sacramento area.  He previously lived in the San Francisco Bay area for 12 years. 

Live Performance:

George performs regularly with bands in a range of styles, including modern jazz with lots of odd meters,  classic jazz, hip hop,  funk, fusion, and electro-pop.

Mads Tolling Quartet

Mads is a two-time Grammy award winner for  his work with Turtle Island String Quartet, and played for many years in  world renowned bassist Stanley Clark’s band.
